What this site collects

Only what you type into the form: your name, your phone number and email, the type of case, and whatever you write in the message box. Nothing is collected quietly in the background.

What it does not collect

This site runs no analytics, no advertising or tracking pixels, and no third-party scripts. It sets no cookies of its own. Fonts are served from this domain rather than from a font provider, so no request about you is made to a font provider in order to render the page.

The map on the contact page

The contact page embeds a map from Google Maps. When you scroll to it, your browser requests that map directly from Google, which means Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies in your browser. That happens under Google’s privacy policy, not this one, and this office gets nothing from it. No other page on this site loads anything from a third party.

Your browser may still store a single value locally, used to remember that you have already seen the site’s opening animation in this session. It is not an identifier, it is never transmitted, and it is cleared when you close the tab.

Why the information is used

Only to reply to you and, if you go ahead and hire this office, to run your case. It is never sold, rented or shared for marketing.

Who else sees it

What you send through the form comes to this office by email. On the way it may pass through the company that runs the form service. Apart from that, your information is shared only when a court, a law or a regulator requires it.

Confidentiality and privilege

What you tell an advocate can be protected under section 132 of the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023. But sending a web form is not what creates that protection. Until this office has confirmed that it acts for you, please do not send papers or facts you would not want read by someone who is not yet your lawyer.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not turn into cases are deleted once they are clearly over. Files for cases actually taken on are kept for as long as an advocate is required to keep them, and are then destroyed safely.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask what personal information about you is held, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted where no law or professional duty requires it to be kept. Children

This site is not directed at children, and the form should not be used by anyone under 18 without a parent or guardian.

Changes

Any change to this policy will be put on this page with a new review date. Important changes will be described, not slipped in quietly.
